Jerry’s Bar

Jerry’s Bar in Benson

The bar that is now “Jerry’s Bar” first opened its doors in 1955 and went through various owners and names until 1968, when it became “Jerry’s” (named after then-owner Jerry Walle) and has retained that moniker since.

Others owned and ran the establishment along the way until long-time Omaha bartender Rob Rutar purchased it in March of 2012. Since then, Rob renovated the bar with new booths, bar stools, and an outdoor patio.

The bar offers 20 beers on tap, usually featuring one or two local breweries, and nearly 60 different bottles in the cooler. Hours of operation are 7:00 AM to 2:00 AM daily
